I want to bring awareness to everyone that not all officers are bad, most are just here to help protect you and me. I’m going to tell you their stories, why they became a officer. The things they go through day after day.

In the last few years, Texas has lost something. Not just Texas but all of the United States, as we go deeper into a culture of sensationalistic news and an almost lawless mentality, we have forgotten those who lay their lives on the line every day for our safety. 

The 20 policemen whose faces and names you know by heart are those plastered in front of you as an example of all civil servants. They are the exception, not the rule. They are the worst of the worst, not the best of the best. Because when a policeman or first responder is doing their job, evil does not occur. Safety is not which we can see or even measure, but that which does not happen in the place of something that could be tragic.

These are the untold stories of the fathers, sons, brothers, mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends who lay their lives down daily to protect you and I. They see the unimaginable so that you do not have to live it. 

They have families, they have emotions, and they have a story to tell. We at TXLonestarblues.com will merely give a voice to their truths. Whether it be individual profiles or viewing an incident from differing viewpoints, our mission is to bring awareness to the other side of law enforcement that the public rarely gets to experience.
